About Me
Therapy can be a place to better understand yourself, work through challenges that feel difficult to navigate alone, and develop practical ways of moving forward. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, and challenges related to life transitions and day-to-day functioning.
My style is collaborative, conversational, and down-to-earth. I aim to create a space where clients can speak openly, explore patterns with curiosity, and feel comfortable being themselves. I tend to take an active role in therapy by asking thoughtful questions, offering new perspectives, and helping clients translate insight into meaningful changes in their everyday lives. I also value humour and authenticity as part of building a genuine therapeutic relationship.
A formal diagnosis is not required to begin therapy. I also enjoy working with people who may simply feel stuck, overwhelmed, or interested in better understanding themselves and the patterns affecting their relationships, work, or well-being.

My Approach
My approach is integrative and grounded in evidence-based psychological treatments. Rather than using the same approach with every client, I tailor therapy to your individual concerns, goals, preferences, and circumstances.
I draw primarily from:
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)
-
Motivational Interviewing
-
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
What We Can Work On Together
-
Developing practical strategies for managing stress, difficult emotions, and everyday challenges
-
Identifying patterns of thinking or behaviour that may be keeping you stuck
-
Exploring relationship patterns and strengthening interpersonal connections
-
Using behavioural experiments or between-session exercises to put new insights into practice
-
Building greater awareness of your values and what matters most to you
-
Balancing practical problem-solving with space for reflection and deeper exploration
My goal is to help you better understand what is contributing to your current difficulties while developing tools and perspectives that support meaningful change. We will work collaboratively, with enough structure to help you move forward while leaving room to explore what emerges along the way.
